FAQs

We partner with several providers to create the best cloud accounting solution for your business. These are:

Cloud accounting software like Xero and FreeAgent can help businesses grow by providing real-time access to financial data, allowing for quicker and more informed decision-making. This helps to identify areas of growth and make necessary adjustments to improve profitability.

Using cloud accounting software automates many financial tasks, freeing up time and resources that can be redirected toward growth initiatives.

Cloud accounting software has a number of benefits that can help businesses of all sizes. It allows for easy access to financial information from anywhere, at any time, as long as there is an internet connection. This means that business owners and accountants can view and manage their finances on the go. Additionally, cloud accounting software automates many of the manual processes associated with traditional accounting, such as data entry and reconciliation, saving time and reducing errors.

Cloud accounting software often integrates with other business applications, such as payroll and inventory management, creating a seamless and efficient financial management system.

The cost of our Self Assessment service depends on the time of year you are filing. It also depends on your type of work (e.g. if you’re a sole trader, etc.)

Depends on when in the tax year they are filing. Depends on what you do for work (if you’re a sole trader etc). Get in touch with our team by either emailing info@cloudaccountant.co.uk or calling 01625 546 232 and we’ll be happy to chat and provide a no-obligation quote.

Typically, we need to know your income throughout the year, and your P45/P60. We also require personal details such as address, NI number and self-assessment UTR number.

You’ll get a penalty if you need to send a tax return and you miss the deadline for submitting it (Self Assessment tax returns: Penalties – GOV.UK.) You may be charged £100 if your tax return is a day after the deadline, this penalty increases after 3 months, 6 months and 12 months late.

HMRC do accept some reasonable excuses for filing late: the recent death of a partner, an unexpected hospital stay, computer failures, service issues with the tax authority’s online services, a fire that prevented you from completing a tax return, or caused postal delays. Each case will be considered individually. It’s always best to file your return in plenty of time before the deadline if possible.
